With the alpha.fi compact flatness measuring system, sheets and plates can be inspected for specified tolerances, as the system measures traceably and precisely. The measuring device capability (MSA) is often a decisive aspect in quality assurance and can be verified with a nokra laser measuring system.
The measurements are carried out in scanning mode in inline or offline operation:
- the gantry moves over the strip which is lying on the measuring table without tension
- flat bodies of any shape, even with cut-outs, are measured
- the gantry width is scalable

Modern steels have to meet increasingly stringent requirements, including geometric features, which is why customer-relevant quality features are becoming more and more important. When using a nokra system, these specifications can be even stricter than required by current standards.
